Samurs Judo Club

Samurs Judo Club was founded in 2000 at Lejas iela 1A by Rasims Balahajevs, a professional judoka from Azerbaijan. Driven by a passion for judo and a commitment to excellence, Samurs has grown into an established club known for teaching both the technical and philosophical aspects of judo. From its modest beginnings, Samurs has been a place where young athletes and beginners can learn judo and martial arts in a supportive, professional environment. Our club has always emphasised discipline, respect and personal growth, helping students become better athletes and develop as individuals.
